TIDA-01371: Simulation, hardware & system design tools forum

Part Number: TIDA-01371
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD19534Q5A

Hi i am using TIDA01371 reference design for my application, PZT as load .

my pulse wave is at 500 MHZ for the PZT. (using full bridge)

the peak current is about 65A , pulse wave.

My "Virtual-GND-Pos" oscillatie after pulse as shown at the pic?

C1- singal to load

C2- V_Gate

C3- differential prob VDS

C4- Virtual-GND-Pos

how can i reduce the oscillation?

  • Hi, I have asked the design team to follow-up.

  • Hi, Nadav

I'm compare your schematic with initial TIDA-01371 and find here is the difference.

    1. R853 is 4.99k, but the initial design is 10k.

    2. Q92(FMMT497) was replaced by FMMT625.

    3. Q155, Q156 was parallel with Q139, Q140.

could you please update the design exactly same with TI initial design and try it again? feel free to let us know the result. thanks.

    regards,

    Bill

  • Hi Bill,

    1. R853 is the scaling for the LDO, i will replace it

    2. Q92 will be replaced, the

    FMMT625 - VCEO of 150V, IC 1A

    FMMT497 = VCEO of 300V, IC 0.5A,

    can it make oscillation??

    3. Q155 and Q156 are not assembly, but we use CSD19534Q5A  and the TIDA-01371 use CSD19533KC.

    4. can you please explain me the use of  C3 1000pF at the TIDA-01371?
