Deleting a Component in SwitchPro

Hi,

I am new to SwitchPro. I am trying to design TPS61087 using SwitchPro. In the datasheet of TPS61087, a single RC is recommended for compensation but the design file TPS61087 uses two caps and one resistor for compensation (C6, C7 & R3). I want to delete C7 from design and simulate it because that is what I have done on my board. But I am not able to find any option to delete the C7 capacitor.

Is there anyway to delete/add the components in SwitchPro?

Hello Vini,

You cannot "delete" parts in SwticherPro. What you can do is to click on that component and make the C7 value small (say 0.001 pF). SwitcherPro will then treat is as an open effectively. The circuit schematic will reflect this too.

If you are trying to simulate time domain response, you can try the TPS61087 PSPICE model which will work in PSPICE Versions 15.7 and up. You can add and remove any components you want in the PSPICE schematic.
