I have a question about the procedure when starting CLLLC.
Is it possible to start CLLLC with the output terminal open?
This is because the specification of the electronic load device I have is to start the load after applying voltage in an open state.

Hi, Ryo,

No problem starting the CLLLC into no load. Just be aware that when the converter runs into no load you can easily lose soft switching. The heat in the FETs can be a problem if not managed properly.

I tried starting CLLLC with the output terminal open. Then, overvoltage is detected and the current is cut off. How should I set it to avoid overvoltage? The operation mode is CLLLC_LAB3 voltage loop.

Hi, Ryo,

I need to correct myself I got confused between the PFC and the CLLLC. The CLLLC will not start up into no load. I recommend using a constant current load of 5 A for start up.
