PSPICE-FOR-TI: llicense call failed

After installation, I could not start PSPICE. It show license call error:

Error (LMC-02955): license call failed for feature PSpice_TI, version 17.400 and quantity 1. The license server search path is defined as C:\users\wzhang\Appdate\roaming\cadence\VBL\TI_Pspice_174\license.txt. An internal error occurred. Please go to http://e2e.ti.com for further assistance. (-35)

There is license file in the folder but the file is empty.

Hi Chris,

Did you install PSpice under a different account? I just saw an example of this where the person was in admin mode to install some extensions, and installed there. Then tried to run under his normal account and ran into this error.

PSpice for TI is a single-user software so you have to install it yourself. It appears like you installed as yourself (wzhang) but I can't be positive. Can you verify both that you installed as yourself, and weren't in admin mode?
