PSPICE-FOR-TI: Access key invalid

I have uninstalled the app from the device i have once installed(friend's PC).Now i want to re-install it in my PC using the same access key so I can't sign in,it says "The access key used with this request is invalid".

My Email: 224007494@stud.cut.ac.za

I want to Re-install it on the other device which it is my PC

  • Hi Lethh,

    You should be able to install on 3 separate machines with the same email/access key.

    If you are sure that you've got the same email/access key and it's not working, you could try requesting a new access key (a new request for PSpice for TI).

    Let me know if that works for you.

  • I have done that but it still gives me the same access Key it once gave me when i first requested it mind you I haven't installed it into more than 3 Devices

  • I hate to ask the obvious, but are you sure that you aren't making a typo? You can select 'Show Password' (eye icon) to verify.

    I've confirmed that you have access as of 10 Feb. Let me dig into this because this behavior shouldn't be happening.

    Please check the following directory: %appdata%\Roaming\Cadence\PSpiceTIInstall

    Normally, there'd be a bunch of files, including cdsPspiceTIlog.txt. But if you can't get past the access key, that path won't have been created.

  • If you are copy-pasting from the email, any space or special character that might get picked up would result in an error. Please double check, and manually type in while showing the characters to avoid any mistakes.

    I've been informed that your old installs have been disabled and that you can now request a new install/Access Key.

    Have you been able to complete installation now?
