The https://www.ti.com/product/LM5050-1-Q1 specifies V_in(min)=5V. I assume you have nominally 5V, where we need to expect RI-drop on or wiring and connectors, drooping by loads etc - seems to close at the limit.

We have solutions down to 1.5V.
