LMR50410: PSPICE Simulation Fail

Part Number: LMR50410

Hi All,

I am trying to simulate the circuit that produces +5VDC and +12VDC output in the PSpice. I performed the calculations for these circuits via WEBENCH POWER DESIGNER and when I simulated there, I see +5VDC and +12VDC values. When I simulate on PSpice I see the approximately correct output for +5VDC. But for +12VDC, I still see approximately +5VDC. I want to know the source of the problem here. I do not want to encounter similar problems when I purchase the product. I would like your support in this matter.

  • Hi Erhan,

I believe your PSPICE schematic is not hooked up correctly. Please see below.

  • Hi Ben,

Thank you for your attention, but when I change the connection the result gets worse. You can see it in the photo below. I think the "SW" and "CB" pins are written in the wrong place in the schematic of the device. Can you do a more detailed review on this subject? I'm waiting for their return. Thank you.

  • Hi Erhan,

What type of simulation are you running? The values shown in your attached photo are DC values. Try running a transient simulation. When I download the PSPICE model and run a transient simulation, I have no issues. Can you provide some simulations pics? Below shows the results of my simulation:
