LM5117: PSPICE FOR TI LONG SIMULATION

Hi TI Team,

I am trying to simulate my design using PSPICE FOR TI and LM5117 spice model.

the simulation takes very very long time ( 1 Hour and plus for showing the results). My run time is only 10ms..

is there a way to speed up the simulation?

Hello Evgeni

If you change the simulation option, it can cause a convergence error. Please keep the original simulation option with 'Auto Convergence' enabled.

Usually, the simulation speed can be improved by using a large memory desktop without running other program except the PSPICE-FOR TI.

Hi Eric,

I did the simulation with the default options as you mentioned.

also I am using a 32gb desktop...

Hello Evgeni

The simulation speed is inversely proportional with the switching frequency. Please try to run the simulation at lower switching frequency.
