I am Chauhan Mihir, and I am working in Aimtron technologies Pvt. Ltd as Hardware design Engineer.

Currently, I am working on a new project, which in design phase only. Our team is thinking to use TPS63060 buck boost IC for getting constant output voltage (3.3V) and input voltage of TPS63060, which are receiving from Li-ION battery where its output voltage range is 3.0V to 4.2V.

I am trying to simulate basic circuitry of TPS63060 IC with two different simulation tools.

Firstly, I am trying with “WEBENCH Power Designer” (Online available on you support website.). However, I am not able to find TPS63060 IC.
I am also trying with “Tina simulator.” I am generated basic supporting circuitry as per IC’s reference circuity. However, I am not getting proper output voltage.

For your reference, images for Tina-simulator software and WEBENCH Power designer are attached. Kindly find it.

Kindly share proper simulator software name -OR- online web-based simulator website link. Therefore, we can finalize circuitry of TPS63060 IC before finalizing hardware of new project.

Hi Mihir,

Based on your application, recommend TPS631010(1A output current) or TPS63805/6/7（2A output current). Smaller size and lower cost.

Can you share proper simulator software name -OR- online web-based simulator website link for simulation.

So, we can evaluate suggested part -OR- our original part (TPS63060).

Hello Tao Zhang,

I am not able to download PSpice simulator software from given link as it's not showing download option. It's showing only request option and ask to fill the forms. After submission of filled form, it come back to request page.

If possible, then please share zip file of simulator software.

Hello Tao Zhang,

I got user ID and password in morning. I downloaded simulator software. I build circuitry of TPS63060 and try to run. However, I am not getting any output voltage. So, I am attaching circuitry and waveform of input output and signal.

Kindly suggest me solution. So, I can finish my simulation and finalized the schematic of project.

Hi Mihir,

From my side, simulation goes well, SCH and waveforms as screenshot below.

No obviously difference found in our schematic, but i saw your run time is smaller than 1uS? is that ture? If so, please extend your simulation time to see what will happen.

Hello Tao,

As per your suggestion I extended simulation time from 1uS to 1mS.However, I am not getting output voltage.

Input and output waveforms are attached for your reference.

Suggest any other solution for complete simulation.

Hello Tao,

I got simulation result, and the simulation is perfectly work.

I changed resistor value 1Meg from1M.Hovever I am going to close the ticket.
