Version 7.10.1 does not support more than one USB interface adapter connected to the PC at the same time. Previous revisions of this software were able to scan all interface adapters and determine which one was in use.

Hi Michael,

This is a limitation of the adapter & software. I can't confirm which old revision allowed for scanning multiple adapters, because my oldest revisions have the same limitation.

Hi,

I was using the TI USB-TO-GPIO adapter with version 7.2.1 (released in 2019). USB-TO-GPIO is now discontinued. To interface with the newer USB-TO-GPIO-2 (released in 2022) via the command line, I had to upgrade to version 7.10.1. While version 7.2.1 supported the scanning feature to determine which adapter was in use, the newest release does not. Are you implying that even though this feature was once supported, there is no way to regain it?

That's right. There are no plans to reimplement this feature due to limitations in the new adapter.
