i am Working on 5.5V/12Amp power supply. This project has been in my research for a long time but I have not been able to finish this project yet. Because sometimes I am not able to set this transformer or set the TVS diode.recently, I took a sample of a transformer from Coil Craft, my power supply is working but my TVS diode (snubber circuit) is getting too hot. And it smokes and leaves its pad by hot.I don't understand how I can down the temperature of the TVS diode. Even though I read the TI Excel sheet and i filled in all the data and according to the result shown by the Excel sheet ii fixed the TVS diode.but after powering on and putting in a load of 3 amps my TVS diode got too hot. Please help me. How I can down the temperature of my TVS diode? Otherwise, give some reference to using the RCD snubber circuit.the winding ratio is primary:aux: sec = 18:3:1
