PSPICE-FOR-TI: error -2008 on installation

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI

Tool/software:

After entering the credentials in the "cadence" "USER AUTHENTICATION", I do get the following error: "This application has encountered an internal error condition. For further assistance go to http://e2e.ti.com. (-2008)"

I tried to install under Windows 10 and Windows 11. Same error.

    Hi Simon,

    We've seen this once or twice before. 

    Do you have any dongles or ports connected on your computer to peripherals? That can sometimes generate odd responses when installing.

    In the meantime, I'll request assistance from Cadence.
