TIDA-010076:Debugging Development Boards

Part Number: TIDA-010076

Tool/software:

Hello Sir:

I am a student from Beijing Jiaotong University .We have typed our own TIDA-010076 development boards,

However, we don't have the K2G development board on hand that can be used to debug the TIDA-010076 board.

Can we use other development boards with mcu such as STM32, ZYNQ7020 to debug this board.

  • Hi,

From what I can see in the TI design documentation, the K2G is used for MII (Ethernet) communication as well as to interface with MSP430 via I2C.

As I don't know your board, and I don't know your test plan, I cannot comment if you can use other mcu board. For sure with I2C communication, you can use any other MCU. For MII, you will need an MCU/MPU that supports 2x MII interface.

What do you plan to debug?

    Regards,

     Thomas
