TIDA-01606: Gate signal oscillation

Dear TI.

I am testing TIDA-01606.

But there is some issue.

When I measure gate signal top and bottom, the bottom gate signal is osciilated.

The below yellow one is the top gate voltage(After the gate driver) and Blue one is the bottom gate voltage(After the gate driver)

and the pink on e is the bottom gate signal from the MCU.

What do you think the problem is?

I amd uinsg differential probe to measure the gate voltage.

I am worried about turing on the bottom switch due to the oscillation.

This is because it makes shoot through of the both switches.(Short circuit)

    are you doing this test with high voltage and high power?

    Second point is the following, maybe your cable of the differential probe are long and unfortunately they will couple some switching noise into them...

    I suggest you to use a passive probe with spring connection on the ground and check again if the oscillation is real or it is just noise coupling unfortunately into the probe.

    Of course care needs to be taken when doing this kind of test, since TIDA 01606 by default is connected to ground, so you can cause short circuits around with the oscilloscope.
