Tool/software:
Hi
I am looking for the PSPICE files for this eval board so I can try different components to reduce the footprint of the circuit
Thanks
Damian
Hi Damian, there are SPICE models for the TPS25762 controller but none specifically for the PMP40934. The spice model on the product page below might be a good start for your design.

Looking at PMP40934, the converter is already switching at the higher side of the controller's frequency range (400kHz) so this design is pretty optimized for size already. If your system is operating with lower power then you could get away with a smaller inductor.
Hi Darwin
Thanks for your quick reply
I have already downloaded the TI-PSPICE but could not find a model for the TPS25762 in the included libs.
Our design only needs 24W max and has a 12V input from POE Module. Space is a premium so need to reduce the inductor footprint to make it fit in our space envelope
Damian
Hi Damian, I recommend going through inductor current calculations in the datasheet to find the peak currents in boost mode (if your 12V from the module is well regulated). Then you can size your inductor for the new lower power requirements.
You might also consider ordering an EVM and verifying it on hardware with the new inductor selection. Thanks!
