TIDA-010933: Using TIDA-010933 as 4-ch regenerative DC constant current programmable load

I was wondering if the TIDA-010933 design could be used as a base for a 4-ch regenerative DC constant current programmable load.  Could the DC channels be adapted to take 24-48V DC input from a power supply and sink a specified DC current? Can the MPPT be replaced with a user specified input current for each of the channels?  In this demonstration it looks as if some of the channels are taking a DC power supply input.  If we can use CAN or something similar to control each of the 4 channels that would be great.  Thanks.
