Hi, I hope you are doing well,
I have a question regarding an application using the LM5155x in a similar configuration to the PMP21781 reference design.
Specifications:
- Input: 6-8.8V (ref design lists 18V)
- Adjustable Output: 30-100V
- Current Rating: 100mA (ref design is listed and tested at 85mA)
Questions:
-
Does this input voltage range and output current seem feasible with the LM5155x in this configuration? If so, what changes would be necessary to support my 100mA current requirement?
-
The main purpose of this design is to use the output as a PWM signal with a period of 20ms (50Hz) and a pulse width of around 450μs. Given these specifications, do you foresee any issues with the switching behaviour or performance of the LM5155x in this application? Ideally this signal would be driven by a low side FET.
Thank you for your assistance
