PSPICE-FOR-TI: PSpice for TI

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI

Tool/software:

I am unable to open PSpice for TI. It is showing the error " ORCOMMN-12005): unable to launch OrCAD PSpice TI. A valid license was not found at the xxxxxxx System license server." How to resolve the issue?

  • Hi Shailesh,

Can you check your install and license info?

    In your search window, %appdata%

    That'll take you to Appdata\Roaming

Go to Cadence. Among others, you should see a PSpiceTIInstall, VBL, and either/or SPB_17.4 and SPB_23.1 directories.

Please upload the cdsPspiceTIlog.txt from the PSpiceTIInstall directory.

Go back up, and then decend into VBL. There should be a TI_PSpice_231 or TI_PSpice_174 directory.

In there will be a license directory.

Upload the license.txt file that you find there.

Hopefully, with these we can begin to figure out what happened and fix it.

Alternatively, you can try uninstalling PSpice for TI. Re-boot your computer, then install again. It might just be a corrupted license file, and re-installing will fix that.

To re-install, you'll need to either find the original message, or request again for PSpice for TI. That'll generate a message (same as the last time) with a link for download and access key.
