PMP40001: Adding a battery charger to an LM5175-based USB PD design

Part Number: PMP40001
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25731, TPS25751, , LM5175, PMP41062, BQ25756E, PMP41031, TPS25750

Tool/software:

I'm designing a product similar to PMP40001, and am planning on using the TPS25751 for USB-PD interface (dual role), the LM5175 for buck-boost for the PD voltages, and a 3-series lithium battery system of ~10V. For my design I need to also charge the battery from the same primary USB C port, and I'm confused on where to add a battery charger, and how the LM5175 would handle current needing to flow into the battery pack. Based on other similar reference designs, I am planning on using the BQ25731. Does it go between the LM5175 and battery pack?
