TIDA-03028: H264 video transmission over 3-400mt

hi,

i'm looking for a solution to transmitt video stream (from camera to a windows PC), over 3-400 mt cable.

Video is low res today (analog), and the idea is to move up / to digital (H264)

We explored 10/100M SPE but it is quite trivial to progress (NDA, etc.) for a few Ku opp.ty, so I was exploring other options and I saw the TIDA...

The challenge we have on top, is that we want ot transfer power and data on the same line with up to 200VDC supply.

Any advice?

    Hi Vincenzo,

    The TIDA could be a possibility for your application, but allow me to clarify a few things first.

    300-400mt is possible for the TIDA-03028 at lower data rates. (SD SMPTE)

    The TIDA-03028 can only lock to SMPTE data rates.

    The LMH devices from TI do not have the capability to send power over data lines.

    Let us know if you are interested in evaluating the EVM.
