TIDA-00173: Board sample request and PCB material query

Hi,

My self Harshil shah from Xylem water solutions, India.  Here I am working as a Lead Hardware Engineer, currently we are developing one motor control board in which we are looking for the SMPS design and in that we have found TIDA-00173 board promising that meets our design criteria. for design finalization we need to validate the board. So could you please help us with a evaluation board sample or buy? Also while checking the gerber we found PCB material is FR408, is there any alternative board material we can use to fabricate the board in future?

    Hello Harshil,

    Thank you for your interest in the TIDA-00173. Unfortunately we don't sell this reference design as an EVM and we don't have spare parts neither.

    The only option I see is that you build the board yourself. I cannot comment on the PCB material. I will reach out to the designer and get back to you.
