Hi,
I was doing the simulation in Tina using LM5170 Model for 2 phase Boost converter, output voltage is 14V and Input voltage is 8V, Full load current i am doing for 3 different currents as 90A, 75A and Maximum 120A. I will be setting the ISETA voltage wrt to inductor average current. I have connected the external voltage loop to set the output 14V. What i am facing the problem in simulation is as below,
Simulated the below condition,
Vin=8V
Vout=14V
Full load current=90A constant current\
Calculated Inductor Average current is 82.8A by considering 95% efficiency. VISETA voltage to set this current is 2.28V.
I have set the ISETA pin voltage to 2.28V by using the resistor divider.
What i am observing that my output voltage is only 13V and all the other waveforms are correct. With same current settings if i am increasing the ISET pin voltage to little high, the entire waveform got disturbed. As per my understanding keeping little higher Vset voltage should regulate the output voltage, since the VISET voltage not reached to the maximum set current limit, whether my understanding is wrong? then how to regulate the output voltage to 14V at 90A current, Also, with 2.28V settings I am reducing the current, all the waveforms get disturbed. please provide your input
