Tool/software:

Hi,

I am currently developing an inverter prototype based on the TIDA-010938 reference design using the TMDSCNCD280039C MCU. I have followed the TI instructions for operating LAB 6 with Unipolar configuration. After setting the INV_clearPWMTripDCAC string from zero to one, I successfully obtained PWM output on pins 49 and 50. However, there is no PWM signal appearing on pins 51, 52, 54, and 56.

I would like to request assistance in identifying the potential causes of this issue and how to confirm which pins should be outputting PWM. Are there any additional settings or steps that I might have missed in the pin configuration or PWM setup process? I would greatly appreciate your guidance and suggestions.

Thank you for your attention and support.

  • I have found a solution to the issue by taking the following steps:

Disabling the Overcurrent Fault Setting, which turns off the protection against overcurrent conditions &
Disabling the Trigger Event when DCBH (DC Bus High), meaning the system will not trigger an event or response when the DC Bus voltage exceeds the predefined threshold.

By taking these steps, the system becomes more flexible and less sensitive to overcurrent or high voltage conditions on the DC Bus.
