TIDA-020033: Request for access to TIDA-020033-TD-DESIGN

Part Number: TIDA-020033
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5123-Q1, TAS6584-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am working on a project involving dynamic voltage tracking for high-efficiency audio systems and would like access to the reference design to evaluate its applicability. The TIDA-020033 design, particularly its use of the TAS6584-Q1 and LM5123-Q1, aligns with my interest in implementing Class-H tracking to optimise power efficiency, thermal management, and EMI performance. Access to the detailed schematics, test results, and design files will enable me to better understand how these components function in a practical setup, offering insights into enhancing my current development

Kind regards,

Bright

  • Bright,

Sorry about the delay. I was out of office last week and own this design. It would be helpful if you could provide some more details about your project and company through a local TI sales representative and we can work together to get you access to the files you need.

  • Hi Matthew,

Thank you for your reply, and I hope you had a restful time away from the office. I appreciate your willingness to assist with accessing the resources for the TIDA-020033-TD-DESIGN reference design.

Our project involves developing a high-efficiency switching power supply for hi-fi audio systems. Specifically, we aim to implement real-time output voltage control through dynamic voltage tracking, ensuring optimal performance by matching supply voltages to the instantaneous needs of the audio signal. This approach draws on principles seen in Class H amplifiers but is tailored to meet the unique demands of high-fidelity audio applications where noise minimisation and precise voltage regulation are critical.

Our goal is to achieve improved efficiency without compromising audio quality, particularly in scenarios involving fast-changing impedance, voltage, and current, which can contribute to distortion and noise. Your reference design aligns closely with our technical requirements and would serve as a foundational element in our work.

Regarding company details, we are engineering consultant. The project is focused on designing power supply with dynamic voltage tracking for audio systems – Class H amplifier.  If you require more specific information about our organisation (kindly email me privately as this is an open forum), I would be happy to liaise with our local TI sales representative to facilitate further discussions.

Please let me know the next steps to proceed with this collaboration, and do not hesitate to reach out for any additional details. I look forward to working together to explore the potential of this design.

    Kind regards,

    Bright
