Tool/software:

I keep encountering an issue where the license cannot be downloaded and verified during the installation process. This has happened multiple times, and I'm unable to resolve it. I really hope someone can help me solve this problem. Thank you very much.

Hello Yifei,

We are aware of this problem. It is impacting all new users. This has been escallated to Cadence to get resolved ASAP.

I'll let you know when we have a resolution.

One user has had success installing in admin mode.

Please uninstall using add/remove program. Then re-install in admin mode.

Let me know if that doesn't work.

If you've setup the environment variable and it doesn't work. Please attach the qalog.txt here.

If it does work, please remove the environment variable as it will continue to collect data and get very large over time.

As there have been multiple reports of success with installing in admin model, I'll close this thread.

If you continue to experience problems, either re-open, or submit a new question.
