Within the product family of LM3478 I have documentation of PN LM3478MM originally being a standalone part. Has this part been discontinued, and is there a recommended replacement? Is PN LM3478MMX/NOPB similar/equivalent?

Hi Isabelle,

Thanks for reaching out via e2e. The part is a bit old but still active on the website and available in TI inventory. The only difference between the LM3478MM/NOPB and LM3478MMX/NOPB is the reel they come in (1000 vs. 3500 pieces). Do you need a same-function alternative to the LM3478?

I was just wondering if there were any performance differences between the legacy part LM3478MM and the part with the /NOPB suffix (LM3478MM/NOPB)?

No there is no difference, that is just the PN of the orderable part on ti.com.
