PMP5647: converting PI controller carateristics into current driver for YIG inductor

Hello ,I have built a basic PI controller with certain AC caracteristics shown below.

I want to convert this PI controller into driving an 1.5uH inductor for (YIG device),I thought to use NPN transistor as shown below but i am not sure.

I dont know what is the best configuration to do the PI controller current driver?

  • Too get sufficient phase and gain margin you must select a TypII compensation for current mode and a TypIII compensation for voltage mode. The PMP5647 is a SEPIC which makes the compensation more difficult. BTW, compensation is a huge topic and cannot be explained here but there is a great presentation which explains everything easy to understand and in detail:
