PSPICE-FOR-TI: ERROR(CRCOMM-12005): Unable to launch OrCAD PSpice TI

Hello Massimo,

I can have the old installs disabled. Then you can install again, and if the ORCOMM-12005 error happens again, we can tackle that.

It'll take a day or 2 to get the installs disabled.

I still get the message, "Too many devices are attempting to connect...with the same access key." Is it possible that the old installs have not been disabled yet?

Hello Massimo,

That's odd that you are still having problems. I received notification that the old installs had been disabled around 6AM your time (11PM here).

Please try again and let me know how it goes. 

If you are still having problems, I'll report that back to Cadence (who's responsible for managing and tracking installs).

Thanks for the quick reply, Massimo.

I've asked Cadence to double-check their work. I don't see why installing on a virtual machine would matter, but I highlighted that to them as well.

Support may be in India, (it's spread out, some in Ireland, some in India), so I'm not sure if we'll get resolution today.

Hi Massimo,

I've not seen anything this morning. After my call, I'll bring this up with more urgency. 

They may request a call, or for you to run some diagnostics. I'll let you know what they say.

Cadence is looking into it.

I pulled your email based on this request and used that <your.name>@<company.country>

Can you confirm that is the email that you are using to download PSpice for TI. You wisely marked it out in the screen shot above.

Yes, I confirm the email (m****.z*****@mat***.it) that is the same one I used to download the installer.

Howdy Massimo,

Just heard back from Cadence. They had missed something in the process have an corrected that.

You should be able to install now.

First time this has happened, but that's what sometimes occurs with a manual process. Human error.
