TIDA-01243: Power Delivery Causing USB issues.

Part Number: TIDA-01243
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65987D, TUSB8040

Tool/software:

We're currently working on a design which uses the TIDA-01243 as a base.

Currently we've been working on getting all the individual systems working, right now we're working on the Power Delivery Controller (TPS65987D) and getting its firmware finalised.

During our testing however we've discovered that once the firmware is flashed on the TPS65987D the USB Hub starts to behave in unexpected ways.

For example, plugging some USB devices in will cause the USB Hub (TUSB8040) to reset to its factory default (It presents itself as a USB device for flashing, maybe this is some kind of failsafe mode?) other device will bring up a "Not enough power is being supplied to the device" warning.

I've tried messing with the source and sink settings in the TPS65987D customisation tool, however so far I'm yet to find a combination that works - I know it's not a hardware issue, as the USB ports worked fine before the TPS65987D was programmed.

I've attatched a screenshot below as well as my .pjt file, any advice on what might causing this problem, or a copy of a known good .pjt file I can test with would be much appreciated!

Thanks.
