TIDA-00443: Regarding the issue in implementing the product

Hi sir, 

My name is Vishaal and i am currently an B.Tech. Undergraduate. we have implemented the hardware model of  TIDA-00443 and currently in testing part. we have an issue while testing the hardware where after giving an supply of 150V till that my Gate driver UCC27517ADBV  is generating pulse where after 170V my gate driver gets short (VCC and GND gets shorted) and damaged. I have tried for almost 3 times but i could not able to find the issue and also my Schematic is as per the reference. Can you help me to figure out this issue as soon as possible please.

    suggestions:

      pls check your bias supply for gate driver. 

    Show me the waveform of your gate driver 

    increase R24 and R3.

    I have cross checked the bias supply for the gate driver its 15V and i have tried increasing the R24 and R3 i have changed R24 to 3.9 ohm and R3 to 2.1 ohm and checked with the gate driver its not generating gate pulse and driver gets short on next try where diode D1 too gets damaged which is the schottky diode. I have attached the testing video where the testing 1 video indicates the gate pulse generated till 140V and testing 2 video shows the bias supply which gets shorted above 150V and the boosted voltage is indicated in the Multimeter. please do find the attached photos of the hardware of PFC with the gate pulse photo too. I have removed the MOSFET Q1 for safety of the MOSFET which will not heat it removing the MOSFET i have tested the gate driver whether it is generating pulse. Please do help me with the problem.

    Can you show me the MOSFET gate signal waveform under 140VAC? want to make sure gate signal is correct.

    Pls also monitor your 15V rail under 140VAC, and send me waveform.

    Do you have both R24 and R2 on your board?

    Can you verify you broken board, see which components got shorted on 15V rail?
