TIDA-01243: Question Regarding the Necessity and Preparations for the TIDA-01243 Firmware

Tool/software:

We are testing a display and USB hub using USB-C. We purchased the TIDA-01243, which has functions similar to what we need for our tests. However, the TIDA-01243 is not functioning properly—neither HDMI nor Mini DP is working.

I noticed that the manual includes information about the firmware.

  1. Does the TIDA-01243 not operate normally unless we follow the "3 Getting Started Firmware" procedure described in tiduc52? (Please note that tiduc52 is the TIDA-01243 Design Guide.)
  2. The sllu248b document is the USB Type-C Mini Dock Users Guide (Rev. B), and it does not include any information regarding the firmware. Which document should we refer to—tiduc52 or sllu248b?
  3. Can we obtain the firmware and the program to download the firmware required for sections 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 in the tiduc52 document?
