Hi,

Iam using UCC256403 IC in my design for LLC converter.

My design input is 350V-420V Voutput is 40V to 60V.

When i opearate with Dc input 390V and output is buillding 55V.

I am observing the audible noise when it is on noload. This noise is increasing when load is applied.

I have attached waveform. Please have suggest what could we can do.

Hi Pratap,

Which IC version you are using 403 or 403A? Could you confirm?

IC full Part number is UCC256403DDBR. Iam observing audible noise when it is loading. what could be the reason, what are the actions to be taken to reduce the noise.

Hi Pratap,

Thanks for confirming. Currently the burst frequency is 2kHz. Could you try increasing the BMTL threshold that should reduce the burst frequency.

Also, Minimum burst pulses in a packet are 40. I don't see that in your waveform. Could you tell me at what load, the waveform is applicable for. Also, could you share the design calculator.
