Customer use LMG3522 as PFC solution. They want to know how to help cool this IC.
Is there any practical approach?

If no heatsink power about 200W

Hi Jimmy,

Customer may cool the device through the top of the package with a heatsink. If only operating at 200W, cooling may not be required.

Sorry, customer require 1.5KW, now only 200W then IC Temp is 90 degree.

Yes, these devices can handle 1.5kW. Please refer to the application notes above for thermal design.
