Hi,

As per this formula voltage transfer ratio is 1

value of i1 and i2 is always same

it will not match with the graph

N=V1, NOM/V2, NOM that will be 2 but in design you considered 1.6 that will come for maximum value

Please give clarity on this

  • Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.
    Let me clarify these points.
The transformer turns N ratio is selected to be 1.6.
    The voltage transfer ratio d = N* Vout_nominal/Vin_nominal = 1.6 * 500V / 800V = 1.
The converter is not only working with the nominal input and output voltages, so the voltage transfer ratio changes with different operating points.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    Andreas
