Hello. I am currently trying to drive a BLDC motor using an EVM. However, when using the initial configuration file "Default Register MCF8329A.json" found from E2E to run the MPET function, the motor does not operate and instead produces a high-pitched noise. Additionally, within Motor Studio, the "Run MPET" button for the MPET function is completely disabled and cannot be clicked. The EVM hardware settings were configured according to the guide.

Before using any default JSON, please try to verify the current rating of the motor.

Can you share your motor details? Max current and max speed?

Hello Venkatadri,
The motor's maximum speed is 4600 RPM and the maximum current is 15A. The MPET process starts and the motor runs, but it does not stop as expected. Instead, the message “Could not detect any MPET fault. Please check the tuning file..” is shown, and the MPET function keeps running without completing.
Do I need to modify the OL (Open Loop) register settings in the MPET tool?
