TIDA-050087: TPS6591605 EN/PB/VSENSE questions

Part Number: TIDA-050087
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65219, TPS6521905

Tool/software:

Hey, regarding TI solution to power i.MX93 using tps65219.

I see in the board schematic you used tps6521905 the user programmable to configure the pmic to work for the imx requirements.

But the EN/PB/VSENSE is connected directly to PMIC_ON_REQ of the imx without PU for first configuration of the PMIC.

So how you programmed it? Or you programmed it before (using the socket evm or something) and then added that to the SOM?

The PU of EN/PB/VSENSE is needed only because in the first time i get the chip, its configured to be PB? Im asking this also because in my board i will use the user programmable device with slight changes from your solution to power the imx (therefore i will need to program it a default values at first and i cant order the imx pmic configuration), but i want to connect the PMIC_ON_REQ to the EN/PB/VSENSE pin, but what i will do with my first configuration when i will program the first configuration? Also the I2C is connected to I2C programming device and by using a mux i will switch the i2c bus to the Proccesor when first configuration is programmed (i saw your suggestion using a header for prototype board, i prefer to not use a header)

Thanks for the help
