TIDA-010951: Problems in UCC 28051 based flyback design bringup

Part Number: TIDA-010951
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL431

Tool/software:

Hi,

Application: AC-DC converter, Input: 230 Vac  Output 80 Vdc , Pout (max.) 44W.

TI application note for reference: TIDA-010951.

AC/DC Converter Topology: Flyback with secondary voltage control using opto and TL431.

IC used: UCC 28051.

Following are the queries:

1. What is the safe bring-up procedure followed in the application note? We are Facing issues in design bringup.
2. How is the ton of the converter is decided by the IC? Is there a relation between Vcomp (pin2) and Vo_sns (pin1) voltages to the output ton of the MOSFET?
3. For small signal modelling, what is the transfer function from Vcomp (C19) to ton of the converter (Required to design the compensation elements)?
4. Why is the pin 1 (Vo_sns) voltage level is selected to be 1.6V in ref note?

Thanks
