In the 10kW TIDA-01606 (E5) reference design, it is mentioned that when using the F28379D controlCARD "version 1.1"
I am currently using a TMS320F28379D controlCARD with hardware revision R1.3.
In the past revision (R1.1), I found the following note:
"On connector J3, connect together pin 2 and pin 3 by using a jumper."
I would like to understand the specific reason for this connection in the context of hardware revision R1.1.
To confirm whether this jumper setting is also necessary on my R1.1 board—and to understand its functional purpose—I would like to kindly request the full documentation or user manual for the R1.1 controlCARD (schematic, layout, or revision notes if available).
