PMP20873: Is PGND_pfc connected to AGND or not?

Hi everyone,

I want to know if PGND_pfc is connected to AGND.

If it is connected, will the inductor be close to the ground wire, causing ground pollution and indirectly leading to inaccurate feedback of the control system?

If it is not connected, how to determine the level of AGND?

    Hi Yi-Hsuan,

    Yes, PGND_pfc is connected to AGND through a Net-Tie (a piece of cupper). I did not find the PCB layout picture you showed in the design, can you tell me where does it come from? In PMP20873, we did not see any ground pollution or inaccurate feedback issue cause by inductor, you can see the PFC input current waveform is very clean in the test report.
