PSPICE-FOR-TI: PSpice for TI - Launch Error

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI

Tool/software:

Dear Support,

I am encountering an issue when trying to launch OrCAD PSpice for TI. The software fails to start and shows the following error message:

ERROR(ORCOMM-12005): Unable to launch OrCAD PSpice TI. A valid license was not found at the 5280@~~ license server. Update the license server configuration to include OrCAD PSpice TI licenses.

I have verified that the license server is running and accessible. However, it seems the required PSpice for TI license is not being recognized.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue?

The application launched successfully until yesterday.

Thank you for your support.

  • Hi, I've the same issue, could be that the TI server is down?

  • Please reboot your PC and try again and create a debug file and share it with us if you still have trouble:

    • Create a new environment variable "CDS_LIC_QA_TEST". Set it to something like C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\LicLog.txt where you have write permission to.
    • Run PSpice for TI if installed or the installer if not, wait for the error message to be shown, then check if the file C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\LicLog.txt is created.
    • share the file LicLog.txt
    • Delete the environment variable "CDS_LIC_QA_TEST". (otherwise LicLog.txt will keep growing).

    thanks,

    JC
