PSPICE-FOR-TI: How to resolve ERROR (ORCOMMN-12005)

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI

Tool/software:

I installed Pspice for TI on a new PC and got the error shown in the attached image.

I installed it with administrator privileges.

Could you please tell me the necessary environment variables and their values?

I'm not sure if CDS_LIC_FILE is required, but it's not set on my current PC.

    Please reboot your PC and try again and create a debug file and share it with us if you still have trouble:

    • Create a new environment variable "CDS_LIC_QA_TEST". Set it to something like C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\LicLog.txt where you have write permission to.
    • Run PSpice for TI if installed or the installer if not, wait for the error message to be shown, then check if the file C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\LicLog.txt is created.
    • share the file LicLog.txt
    • Delete the environment variable "CDS_LIC_QA_TEST". (otherwise LicLog.txt will keep growing).
