PSPICE-FOR-TI: ORCOMMN-12005 Error

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI

Tool/software:

I downloaded PSPICE for TI last week, and it has been working fine until this morning, when I launched it and got the following error:

After doing some research, I have tried the following:

- Reinstalled Pspice for TI

- Disabled my VPN (I do get a successful connection from Test Connection)

- My licence.txt file is present and in the correct directory

- I am logged in as the same user as when I originally installed

Any advice on how I can resolve this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks

  • Please reboot your PC and try again and create a debug file and share it with us if you still have trouble:

    • Create a new environment variable "CDS_LIC_QA_TEST". Set it to something like C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\LicLog.txt where you have write permission to.
    • Run PSpice for TI if installed or the installer if not, wait for the error message to be shown, then check if the file C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\LicLog.txt is created.
    • share the file LicLog.txt
    • Delete the environment variable "CDS_LIC_QA_TEST". (otherwise LicLog.txt will keep growing).

    thanks,

    JC

  • It seems to have been resolved along with the license service restoration.
