I have a question about the finish on the leads, we are detecting that the leads have some kind of chemical, maybe.

Is this normal on this part?

We received these parts direct from TI.

I got confirmation that the lead finish is NiPdAu.

We are otherwise unaware of any other chemical finish.

Hi Erik,

All we can note is that the leads have a NiPdAu finish.

TI does not add any other chemical finish on those pins past what has been noted. If this is the chemical you are detecting, then this is normal. Other than that finish, those other chemicals are not from TI.
