Hi Team,

I am working on a Li-Ion battery charger. Below are the specifications.

Vin - 90 to 265Vac

Vout - 18Vdc

Pout - 100W

Cell - 4S

At the front end (flyback) I have selected UCC28740DR.

I am referring to PMP22419 schematic for Li-Ion Charger application.

If you have better parts for the above application pls suggest.

Hi Nirvik,

Does the charger need to have PFC? The DC/DC portion you selected is a good choice given your specs.

For the AC/DC you could use one of the following UCC28740 or UCG28826.

IF you need PFC a good choice is UCC28056

Thanks for your reply.

I am moving forward with UCC28740 (without PFC) and BQ24600. Pls comment if you have second thought.

I need the design file of BQ24600 (Schematic) to reduce the design time.
