PMP23501: Extended Power Range?

Tool/software:

The title is "Automotive, 24V to 60V Input, Two-Port USB Power Delivery 60W Maximum Each Reference Design", but on the PCB is written SPR and EPR with 5 A. Is the max power limited by the heat? And is a fan required for 48 V, 5 A, 240 W power out? I this per channel or is it 240 W the sum of both ports?

    hi matthias, this specific design was created and tested to support 60W. However, we have added hooks on the PCB to support SPR and EPR (yes with some extra components populated and fan or cooling); however, we are currently optimizing the EPR solution. If you want, we can send you what we have today offline however there may be changes to it while to continue our testing of EPR.
