Hi TI,
We have EVM board - LMG2100EVM-078.
It is working as buck converter with dual PWM signals with all the necessary changes made on the board for dual PWM.
It is also mentioned that we can use it as boost converter. Even after using the low input PWM, It is not working as boost converter. Please let me know how i can use this board as boost converter with all the necessary changes to be made on boards and how to program what PWM signals to be given from ESP32.

Hi Shree,

In order to run the EVM in boost converter, you need to reverse the load and power supply connections.

We will connect Vin to J2 connector and the load at J1 connector.

How do i provide the PWM signals? the PWM signals are complementary but when we connect vin to j2 and load to j1 how will the IC LMG2100R044 powering up?

Hi,

We don't need to do any change except the load and power supply reversal. Depending on where we give the input and take the output, buck will act as boost converter.

Please see a rough image drawn below. There won't be any change as LS FET will be driven by LI and HS FET will be driven by HI.
