PSPICE-FOR-TI: My PSPICE-FOR-TI License already expired, how to get a new license?

Hi Yenwu,

The license should renew automatically. If not, please follow these steps:

1. Create a new environment variable called “CDS_LIC_QA_TEST” and set it to a text file like this:
2. Close and run the installer. The file will be created. Once you see the error, close the GUI.
3. Now delete the environment variable or rename it to something else, otherwise the log file will keep growing.
4. PM me the LicLog.txt file

Thank you very much, JC, I already applied a new license and downloaded a new version of PSPICE-FOR-TI already, I have reinstalled this new version several times, because it seems not working properly continuously, it works once, then next time, it does not work again. 

I face this following question, 

1. I could not locate this new version software in my computer, not sure where it is located in my computer, this new version software seems not listed in the "CONTROL PANEL" of my computer which I have WINDOW 11 installed, I ended up using the PIN-TO-TASK function to pin this new software into my computer TASK BAR, so that I can relaunch it next time, otherwise, I have big trouble to locate it in my computer, 

not sure if you know what the name of this new version software is called? so that it might help me to locate where is this new version software. 

2. I just tried to relaunch this new version PSPICE-FOR-TI again after it works once before, I see this following error message pops up as copied below. not sure if you have advice on how to resolve this issue?

Please close the software. Then in step 2 I wrote above, instead of running the installer, please run it again (C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\tools\bin\Capture.exe).

Thank you, JC, my cadence location looks like this, it is at C:\users\AppData\Local\ as copied below, inside the Cadence folder, there is no PSpiceTI folder as you have shown above, but there are 2 folders as copied & circled below. in the right side. Not sure what I should do with this situation? not sure if I should unisnstall which program & maybe reinstall a new PSPICE-FOR-TI file or not?

Hi, JC, this copy below shows inside the Cadence folder, there are 2 circled folders as shown below. which are not "PspiceTI" folder as you described above, not sure how to uninstall this Cadence folder, because Control Panel cannot find this "Cadence" folder. 

Not sure can I download a new PSPICE-FOR-TI again and reinstall this new version or not in my computer? Thank you. yenwu lo

Hi, JC for the error message I copied below, which indicated the bundle name is defined as TI_PSpice_231 has encountered an internal error condition, I found this file location and posted below. & the Lincense.txt contents of that TI_PSpice_231 bundle is attached here for your reference, not sure if this might be able to help to resolve the issue which I am currently facing. HI, JC, I checked my computer C: drive and found these following Cadence related folder as copied below, 

since I unpinned the "PSPICE-FOR-T"I icon from task bar already, I do not know where the PSPICE -FOR-TI is located now and I have a hard time to rerun the PSPICE-FOR-TI now. 

should I delete all these Cadence related folder, & reinstalled a new PSPICE -FOR-TI, and then try to follow your instruction as posted above?

The shortcut should point to C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\tools\bin\Capture.exe.
