Tool/software:
I downloaded the FMEA report of TIDA-01599 on the official website for learning and found one of the issues:
In line 51 of the FMEA Channel 1 STO_1 sheet, when Pin 2 input open failure occurs, the Local effect/response analysis is' MCU_Siag_CntrlOut1 disabled, no diagnostic signal for STO_1 '. But I believe that the analysis of local effect/response should be consistent with lines 50 or 52, as they both belong to the open circuit of the input pin.
This creates a problem where the fault detection mechanism of MCU_Siag_Cntrl_Out1 has failed, and there is a dangerous failure situation similar to that of rows 50 and 52. Does this still comply with the Cat.3 architecture?
Is this way of thinking wrong? Looking forward to your reply.
