When Vin is set to 100V in the design calculator and VBULK is set to 50V, CBULKH becomes negative. Is it possible to set a lower value for VBULK?
Hi Takahiro,
Can you please send me the design calculator with the values according to the operating point of your application?
Also, can you please let me know if your application needs a specific hold up time?

20250906_UCC29910A Design Calculator_SLUC265A.xlsHello Soumya-san Please refer attached worksheet. Input voltage is 100VAC and output voltage is set to 48VDC. So, Output capacitor show -211uF. As a result, the design did not progress. As for PFC, this was my first design, and I tried to purchase the TPS92075, but it was out of stock.I need to make a sample with these specifications by the end of the year. I'm having trouble making progress on the design. I want to miniaturize the board and design a step-down PFC.
Hi Takahiro,
I am looking into it and will get back to you soon.

Soumya
Hi Takahiro,
The CBULK_H can be correctly calculated using this formula mentioned in the datasheet:
The datasheet can be found here: Buck PFC Controller - datasheet (Rev. A)
Thank you for pointing out this mistake in the design calculator, we will try to rectify it in later version.

Soumya
