AUDIO-AM275-EVM: Using --hide and --unhide linker options for Obfuscation

This is related to the previous question of Obfuscation.

We recently encounter this --hide and --unhide options in C7000 compiler documentations:

Why was this not suggested? Is there any problem in using this?

Your previous post describes building a library. A library is created with the archiver. These options are supported by the linker, not the archiver.

Yes, I got it. Can we use the --relocatable + --hide to create a linkable output module, which can be used later as input to linker while hiding some symbols.
Is it worth investing time in this path?

Yes. I encourage you to try some small experiments before committing to this method. It is used less often than the library method. So I am concerned about overall robustness.
